Most of the people get confused while choosing the tenor that to invest in short-term FDs or in long-term FDs. But it is important to know how the term will impact on investment goals. In simple term, in long-term FDs, the tenor is of more than 12 months and in short term FDs, the tenor is up to 12 months.
